ALASKA was set up in 1986 and it is a service company specialising in the organisation and implementation of road transport of perishables and other goods.
It has been created, developed and managed by a team entirely consisting of women. Over the past few years ALASKA has acquired a leading position as an intermediary for controlled-temperature transport, thanks to choices which have always anticipated market requirements.
The parcelling out of goods (groupage) and the optimisation of transport activities have allowed us to create a continuous connection between northern and southern Europe and vice-versa which is unparalleled in this sector.
Rationalising the loading and shipment activities, also by choosing the most suitable and efficient route for a specific itinerary, over the years has allowed us to consolidate a complete network of reliable carriers for all European routes at the most convenient rates and with maximum guarantees.
But our progress continues, in the search for new market segments, for the continuous testing of receptivity and interest in the services offered, as well as investing in new opportunities to design systems in line with the latest developments.
